Hi, it’s Iulia, your Romanian-born Vancouverite digital and film photographer.
When I received a Canon PowerShot A460 (a digital point-and-shoot camera) for my sixth birthday, I had no idea I would become the photo fanatic I am now. Though I am Brooklyn Nine-Nine obsessed, nothing beats my adoration for photography.
To cultivate the several visions I had before becoming the more technical-driven photographer I am now, I decided to apply to and complete the two-year Professional Photography Diploma Program at Langara College. I am currently in my fourth term and enamoured with the idea of strengthening my skills in each genre of photography. Challenges excite me and there is nothing more satisfying than being able to be proud of my work at the end of the day when I am reviewing my files from a shoot.
My main goal in my professional and personal work is to be a jack of all trades for my clients without the negative connotation. I consistently experiment with my photographic abilities and apply the precision, versatility, vivid colours, and attention to detail in all of my work. When I am not in class, you can find me studying more about the infinite world of photographic knowledge... or playing video games. :)
